This 'World Environment Day', we're proud to highlight a recently completed Solar PV installation for a Dublin-based client.
Working in partnership with Solar Precision, Apleona Ireland managed the project from delivery through to installation, electrical integration, testing and final handover of a 20kW Solar PV system across multiple roof locations.
The project supports our client's sustainability objectives by increasing on-site renewable energy generation, reducing long-term carbon emissions, and contributing to a more sustainable future. To further offset the environmental impact of project-related travel and deliveries, a tree was planted in Kerry on behalf of our client, with a certificate issued upon completion.
What's particularly exciting is that we can now monitor the system's performance in real time, with a significant proportion of the energy generated being exported back to the grid.
The estimated annual energy generation from the system can displace approximately 5.46 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year and generate enough energy to power an electric vehicle for up to 129,030 kilometres.
