⚠️ Warning to business owners

We want to make other businesses aware of an issue we experienced with someone identifying herself as Shauna Gallagher.

She contacted us to book a service and appeared very polite, professional, and genuine. She insisted on paying via bank transfer rather than online payment.

However, after the booking she sent screenshots that appeared to show the payment being made. The screenshots only showed the amount and did not include the IBAN or full transfer details. When we checked our bank account, no payment had been received.

Unfortunately, this happened twice for small amounts before we realized what was going on.

When we attempted to contact her by phone several times, we received no response. After sending an email stating that the matter would be reported to the Garda, our number was unblocked and she replied saying she was travelling and would resolve the issue when she returned. So far, the payment has still not been received.

We are sharing this experience so other businesses can be cautious with payment confirmations and verify transfers directly with their bank before providing services.
