In this article, David Fagan of Business Legal speaks about the recent enforcement activity of the Data Protection Commission ("DPC") in relation to the additional proposed measures to be taken against Tusla, the submitting of a draft decision to WhatsApp for their final submissions (as has been found by the courts in Ireland to be a constitutional requirement in respect of decisions taken by the DPC), and the DPC's decision in the Twitter case, as well as more general matters relating to the Covid-19 pandemic in Ireland from a Data Protection, Employment Law, and Health and Safety Law standpoint.
