As clays.ie page status remains unchanged here's a small update on the status of Clay Shooting Events Management System...
Work on the release is progressing well and most features are ready. Some new features need extensive testing and consume time but we're close to release date.
Here's a few features that will be included in this release:
- support for most popular disciplines
- flexible classification system (you'll be able to assign classification to each discipline, to maintain the same classification for some disciplines or to have a simple model of one classification for all disciplines. All that based on your preference.
- purpose-built score entry system to allow for easy and efficient data entry
- "live" scores - all searchable, sortable etc.
- event branding (so that your sponsors are happy ;)) - that includes printed scores
- and (obviously ;)) statistics (Leinster League stats http://clays.ie:8088/event/scores can give you a flavour of what's coming)
There will be a separate version for associations/leagues which will include additional features (to allow for multiple clubs and all related stuff).
There's also a long list of features that will be coming - in next release or slightly later.
You can get a preview of the system - come down to Courtlough, shoot the league and you'll see it yourself.
