NEVER accept a job offer without negotiating.

Are you using AI to write your CV?
Delete these words now, from a recruiter’s perspective.

AI is a powerful tool so leverage it. But don’t outsource your voice. The most compelling CVs still carry a clear, human narrative.

Too often, we see profiles filled with overused, diluted language that signals automation rather than authenticity.

Avoid terms like:
“hardworking,” “team player,” “results-driven,” “detail-oriented,” “go-getter,” “passionate,” and “dynamic.”

These words don’t differentiate you but they dilute your impact.

Instead, shift to language that demonstrates tangible value and strategic contribution:
• Delivered measurable outcomes
• Led cross-functional initiatives
• Optimised processes to improve efficiency
• Generated revenue growth / cost savings
• Drove stakeholder alignment
