Housing remains a big challange for Dockland businesses. We have created a exceptional housing event for Dockland employees. Two Dublin local authorities, DublinCity Council and Fingal County Council have all agreed to present, at one event, on the new Projects they have coming online over the coming months and beyond.

Your employees can book here and will be sent the link to the event a day in advance.

This event is online and exclusive to Dockland employees. Thursday 19th February, at 5.30pm. The date is in advance of the launch of Dublin City Council's Oscar Traynor Woods development which will see 57 affordable homes open for application.

Do please pass on the news and help hard working Dockland employees get into poll position for a chance to buy an affordable home.

🌍 As COP 30 begins, it’s clear Ireland faces a major challenge — we’re currently on track for only around a 23% emissions reduction by 2030, far short of our 51% target.

That’s why local action matters more than ever. The Docklands Business Forum’s Dublin Docklands Sustainability Action Programme is our community’s ambitious yet realistic plan to make a real contribution to Dublin’s climate goals.

Through collaboration, innovation and measurable action, we’re showing how businesses and neighbourhoods can lead the way toward a more sustainable city.

💚 The Docklands has the energy, the creativity and the commitment — now we’re turning it into impact.

Time to Combat Antisocial Behaviour

Last Friday, we had a positive and well-attended meeting with An Garda Síochána Dublin on . Businesses and residents attended, each with a horror story, and some with many, of what is happening in our city. There are several things everybody agreed on, including:

1. It's getting worse and
2. Something needs to be done

We are grateful to James GeogheganTD for attending and agreeing to help us get the right stakeholder representatives around the table to roll up their sleeves and get the multi-agency approach needed to make progress in sorting this out. There are plenty of examples from around the world of how progress can be made with ASB.

A big thank you to Donna Curry and her team at the Grand Canal Hotel for hosting. Also thanks to so many businesses and residents who took the time to attend including Conor O'Kane from the Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane, Owen Reilly, Betty Ashe and representatives from Real Estate Dublin, Mespil Hotel, Aramark, Ashling Hotel Dublin, Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel, , Dublin City Council, Spencer Place, and to name but a few.

We will be sure to keep you posted on our next working meeting with stakeholders.
