We want to ensure the safety of our community and protect everyone from falling victim to this. Please read this important message.

The scammers are using our company's name (Recruiters.ie) to gain trust and legitimacy. They contact unsuspecting individuals through WhatsApp and offer them freelance/remote work. They may claim to be representatives or recruiters from our organisation. However, these messages are fraudulent attempts to exploit innocent people.
⚠️Although we do use WhatsApp to reach out to our Talent Community (now paused while investigations continue), below are some warning signs to watch out for:

Account type: The message will be from a personal account. We use an official company account and follow WhatsApp's official commercial policies.
3️⃣The name attached the the phone number does not match the name given in the accompanying message. Our will be from a bot and will always include your first name and account details.

5️⃣ Request for personal information: We will never ask for sensitive information like bank account numbers, social security numbers, or copies of identification documents.
6️⃣ Unprofessional communication: Genuine companies maintain professional communication standards. If the message appears unprofessional or lacks official email addresses, contact information, or website links, it is likely a scam.
