In addition to this Celtic Christmas Trees are working hard on making their farms as sustainable and green as possible. e on each farm. Your trees are growing in depths of the Wicklow and Kilkenny hills in clean air. Noted wildlife on our farms: Rabbits, foxes, deer, hedgehogs, mink, pheasants, wild ducks, water hens, herons, rooks, cuckoo, snipe, woodcock, buzzards, pigeons, magpies, cuckoos, swallows, finches, bees, wasps, and butterflies and now recently we have site the very rare red squirrel. Oak, beech, mountain ash, rowan ash, sycamore, horse chestnut. sweet chestnut, elder, laurel, holly, blackthorn, whitethorn, and gorse. Wildflowers and wild fruit include:
Violets, primroses, bluebells, speedwell, birds foot trefoil, robin-run- the hedge, yarrow, herb Robert, vetch, foxglove, buttercup, dandelions, white clover, red clover, woodbine, dog rose, various grasses and ferns, blackberries, sloes, frauchauns, haws, and elder berries. Christmas Trees are available in sizes from 3 ft to 9 ft.
