2025 was a year of learning. To slow down, be present, and enjoy time with the people who matter most.

A reminder to do what makes you happy, keep going after the things you want, and not be afraid to fail.

Don’t think too far ahead, keep showing up and just enjoy the day in front of you 🤍

How’s your self-belief? Are you backing yourself, or are you your own biggest critic?

Nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated. Whether you’re juggling work, family life or training hard as an athlete, food shouldn’t feel overwhelming 🤯

I get it though, it’s tough to build a better relationship with food when there’s so much conflicting info out there. That’s why I stick to my 3-step approach:

Simple ✅ Satisfying ✅ Sustainable ✅

SIMPLE ✨
Learn to build your plate: protein + carb + healthy fat + fruit/veg (ham, bread, cheese, salad mix, simple as that) 🍽️

Focus on what you can add rather than what you should takeaway ➕

Rinse and repeat the meals that you enjoy and that work for you and your schedule 🔂

Keep quick options at hand (frozen veg, microwavable rice) and have 2–3 go-to meals options (breakfast, lunch, dinner)to make decisions easier 🏃‍♀️

SATISFYING 😋
Add more protein to what you’re already eating (bacon medallions on that morning bagel) 🥓

Load up your plate with fruit and veg- as well as being packed with micronutrients they create volume and help to keep you fuller for longer 🥦

Don’t cut out foods you enjoy- Absolutely not necessary and life’s too short for that 🍫

Play around with sauces, flavours, seasonings, and textures so you don’t get bored🧂

SUSTAINABLE 📈
Make small tweaks to your diet over time instead of trying to change everything at once 🐢

Be smart about portion sizes, it can go a long way when it comes to weight management🧆

Build habits you can stick with long term, not just for 6 weeks 🔄

Plan for flexibility (social meals, takeaways, busy weeks) 📝

Adjust as your life or goals change, your nutrition can and should adapt with you. The basics work - Remember progress beats perfection 💪

Off Season training has commenced 💪

You build all year for championship football, and sometimes it’s over just like that ⚽

If you’re feeling disappointed about how your season went, whether it was brilliant or frustrating, now’s the time to get to work👷‍♀️

Personally I’ve had some downtime, done a bit of reflecting, and set my goals for the off season and I’d encourage you to do the same ✍🏻

Looking back at what went well and why, what didn’t go so well and why. That’s what shapes everything you need to do moving forward 🎯

For years, I used to completely switch off during the off season. A full break, no training, then go back into pre-season and basically repeat the exact same season I’d just had

This year I’ve changed my approach completely and got myself a coach to take all the guesswork out of it. No more winging it and hoping things will somehow be different

Let’s be honest most players just cross their fingers and hope for the best🤞But if you were blowing hot and cold this season, hoping won’t change anything

Without proper reflection and a clear plan in place, you’re just setting yourself up to repeat the same season year on year 🔄

How are you approaching this off season? Actually building on what you’ve learned or just going through the motions again? 🤔

I’ve been quiet on here lately, busy coaching and working on some exciting projects behind the scenes. But content will be resuming and I’ll be sharing some of the work I’m doing this off season to prepare for next season 📈

Client A Progress Update 🌟

Client A came to me already a couple of weeks into her “diet.” She’d made a bit of progress on her own but knew deep down that without some structure, support and accountability, she’d end up right back on the start again Monday merry-go-round she’d struggled to get off before 🎠

Her goals were clear. Lose weight and keep it off, feel more confident in her body, and finally understand nutrition in a way that felt doable long term 🎯

From day one she showed up with commitment, and that was the first step. The rest? We tackled it together🤝

Over the last number of weeks we’ve ⬇️
✅ Shifted away from the all-or-nothing mindset that held her back
✅ Zoomed out and started focusing on progress across the week, rather than days in isolation
✅ Focused on getting back to routine quickly after social events or setbacks
✅ Found habits that supported her goals — like pre-planning meals, preparing for social events, and building a simple pre/post-sleep routine to work with her shift patterns
✅ Built an enjoyable and sustainable exercise routine.
(Exercise being something she never imagined she’d actually enjoy!)

What we didn’t do 🫣
❌ Cut out food groups
❌ Follow rigid rules or extremes
❌ Skip meals to “make up” for a night out
❌ Rely on motivation or wait for the perfect week

Her progress has come from being consistent, not perfect. From making small changes that felt doable even on the tough weeks. From learning that progress isn’t about being strict, it’s about being strategic 😎

This is the power of building habits that work with your lifestyle, rather than against it

This is only the start, and I’m excited to watch her continue making progress 🥰

Well done A 👏🤍
