We're back in the past US Pre-Clearance in T2, sampling Four Province Blend.. smooth, approachable, and currently on offer!

A proper all-Ireland blend – bringing together whiskeys from all four provinces. Grain, malt & pot still whiskey, with bourbon and sherry cask influence – think caramel, dark fruit, spice and a smooth finish 👌

Not one you’ll see everywhere… so if you’re US bound this week, come have a taste before you fly🇮🇪🥃🇺🇸

This month we're in T2 sampling Ireland’s lesser talked about native Spirit... Poitín

Poitín (pronounced put-cheen) is Ireland’s oldest distilled spirit and the true predecessor to
modern Irish whiskey. It's name comes from the word “pota” (Irish for small pot still). Historically produced illegally across rural Ireland, it is now a fully regulated (legalised in 1997) and protected Irish spirit.

Distilled in pot stills, Poitín can be made from: Barley, Potatoes, Sugar beet, Whey (modern styles) It is an unaged, clear spirit, typically bottled between 40–60% ABV

Key Difference vs Whiskey:
It's not aged in casks, essentially it's day one whiskey but Irish whiskey must be aged minimum 3 years.

Traditionally enjoyed neat, or with water. However, you need to try it in cocktails, you won't regret it!!

So if you’re on your travels, stop by and Team A.C.E will have a variety of delicious Poitín's for you to try before you fly👌
