CEO at Accident Repair Management (ARM) Pty Ltd, Sydney, Australia
Accident Repair Management (ARM) is a group of premier automotive collision repair
shops located in the Greater Western Sydney area (http://accidentrm.com.au)
As Chief Executive Officer I worked closely with the Board of Directors, serving as managing
director of corporate operations and as the main link between the different divisions within
the company.
Responsibilities:
▪ Direct the company in keeping with the vision outlined for the company by the Board of
Directors
▪ Represent the company as required, including attendance of important functions, industry
events and public meetings
▪ Work closely with the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) to prepare annual budgets, complete
risk analysis on potential investments, and advise the Board of Directors regarding
investment risk and return
▪ Work closely with Human Resources (HR) regarding hiring practices, payroll, and benefit
disbursement
▪ Provide strong and clear leadership internally to the organization and its people and
externally to the organization’s stakeholders.
▪ Provide management oversight and responsibility across the organization to ensure the
effective and efficient functioning of the organization
Achievements:
▪ Delivered year-over-year revenue growth of 50% and increased share of market as major
account for Insurance Australia Group
▪ Repeatedly produce sustained revenue and EBITA growth in dynamic and changing market
▪ Initiated and completed 2 new acquisitions
▪ Visited all sites personally and organized meetings with team on quarterly basis to ensure
understanding of and gain buy-in for newly implemented changes.
▪ Led management team in identifying and correcting critical problems; reduced and
streamlined overhead expenses, strengthened gross margins, overhauled, and improved
operating processes and systems, resolved quality issues and increase customer
satisfaction
Achievements include managing staff of 120 and almost $30 MILION TURNOVER with operating
profit of 20% which is double industry standard, without degradation of quality or morale
and while simultaneously trimming 10% of costs. Increased productivity 20% in a single year.
