Jobs Five-0 We are a recruitment agency that bridges the gap between quality employers and jobseekers from 50 years upwards in Ireland

Jobs Five-O was set up in August 2014 by 4 enterprising women who saw a real gap in the jobs market in Ireland. Currently there is no recruitment agency catering for jobseekers over 50 years of age. Our research has shown that the major recruitment agencies cater for the 25 to 34 year old age group in the main. We aim to recruit mature, experienced job-seekers and link them in with quality employe

rs who appreciate mature, enduring, quality job-seekers. We are social entrepreneurs with a vision for change in the quality of life and employment prospects of mature workers who have lost their jobs due to the recession.

Hi everyone. There is a new hacker on Facebook. He arises between the comments of your contact's posts, with an offensive comment. It's really ugly and looks like it came from you. You don't see them, but your friends do. This can create many offensive misunderstandings. They also post p**n pictures. Great. I hope you get the staff you are seeking. Just to explain that Jobs Five-0 are Irish based (on the island of Ireland) and and want Irish based employers to hire a portion of job-seekers who are over 50 and 60 who live in Ireland. Lots of Irish based employers have an unwritten rule not to hire from this age group because they mistakenly think we have no new ideas and have to many old approaches and old ways. Jobs Five-0 promotes the valuable resource which we are. Both European Law and Irish Law legislates against inequality on the basis of age, but many recruiters/employers get around this by not hiring from our age group. A quality comprehensive policy encouraging employer engagement to recruit mature job seekers who are over 50 and 60 years of age would meet one of the major objectives of JobsFIVE-0 - the age range of the Tánaiste and many of her colleagues in Government.

Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton, T.D. today (Monday, 15 September 2014) officially opened the Department’s new Intreo Centre in Anne Street, Wexford. Minister for Public Expenditure, Brendan Howlin, T.D. and Minister of State, Paul Kehoe, T.D. also attended the event.
