414 business introductions and counting 🤝

You see the events, the sporting names and the photographs.

What you don’t always see is everything going on between them.

The calls. The introductions. The follow ups. Finding out who our members want to meet and helping make it happen.

We’ve a brilliant network of good people. I want to keep making it better, and there’s plenty happening across the wider Sporting Club to be excited about.

This is my our go to on the good and bad days, and there are plenty of both. Rome wasn’t built in a day. But it was built.🙏

There’s enough opportunity to go around. We are big believers in that.

It’s why collaboration is such a big part of The Sporting Club Ireland.

We’re heading around Ireland in 2027, with some dates already confirmed alongside other organisations.

We would love to chat with county boards, business communities, GAA clubs, rugby clubs and soccer clubs about doing something together.

The idea is simple enough. Connect communities, put on a great event, bring good people and good businesses together, and make some great introductions.

There might be someone in our network better suited to yours, and vice versa. By bringing our communities together, that’s how we find out.

You never know what could come from a conversation. A customer, a partnership, or someone who can help you get an idea off the ground.

And we wanted to launch with one of your own.

joins us for the official launch of The Sporting Club Ireland in Cork.

But this is about more than dinner and hearing from one of Cork’s greats. It’s about who’s in the room with you.

The Sporting Club Ireland is a business community built around sport, bringing people together, making introductions and hopefully creating opportunities along the way.

100 seats.

A room full of business owners, leaders and decision makers.

People looking to grow their network, meet new people, do business and enjoy a really good night at the same time.

That is what we are trying to build.

Sport gets people into the room.

The value is who you meet when you get there.

And Cork is only the start.

In 2027, we plan to bring The Sporting Club Ireland to as many cities and large towns as possible, connecting business communities right across the country.

We are so bloody excited about this one😍🔥

Conor Moore is an amazing personality who sits right at the intersection of sport, comedy and live entertainment.

From Mullingar, County Westmeath, it started with the GAA, but his world now stretches across the Premier League, golf, Formula One, politics and entertainment. His repertoire is incredible, and along the way he has found himself in the company of some of the biggest names in world sport.

But Conor is far more than an international impressionist. He’s a brilliant guy, and underneath all the comedy there’s a fascinating story of his own.

We cannot wait to welcome Conor Moore to The Sporting Club Ireland on January 28th.

Venue to be announced very soon. This one will be absolute mayhem.

Harry Redknapp was so nice, we had to do it twice. 🔥🙌

After delivering an absolute masterclass in Dublin back in June, we’re delighted to be welcoming Harry Redknapp to Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork, on January 21st.

Harry is simply one of the great storytellers in sport. Warm, funny, generous with his time, hugely engaging, completely authentic and someone who can hold a room from the second he starts speaking.

For anyone who hasn’t come across The Sporting Club Ireland yet, our events are built around much more than just the guest on stage.

They’re about hospitality, business development, client entertainment, growing your network, making new connections and getting the opportunity to spend time with people like Harry Redknapp, something that doesn’t happen every day.

The Sporting Club Ireland network continues to grow, and with that comes more opportunities, more introductions and more reasons to get involved.

Really looking forward to welcoming Annalise Murphy to the National Yacht Club Club on October 22nd, although, to be fair, it’s probably more accurate to say she’ll be welcoming us! 🙈⛵️

An Olympic medallist with an incredible story, mindset and perspective on competing at the very highest level, with so many learnings that translate into business, sport and everyday life.

Before then, we want to wish Annalise the very best of luck at the upcoming World Championships in Dun Laoghaire. 🇮🇪⛵️

Our Sporting Club Ireland events are built very much around business development, hospitality, growing your network and learning from brilliant people, while hopefully having plenty of fun along the way. 🙏

One of the great things about building The Sporting Club Ireland is getting the chance to bring genuinely inspiring people into a room and hear their story properly.

Lewis W Moody is absolutely one of those people.

World Cup winner. England captain. British & Irish Lion. One of the fiercest competitors of his generation.

But what makes this one particularly special is everything Lewis has faced away from rugby, and the way he continues to approach life with such positivity, perspective and courage.

On Thursday 24th September, we’ll welcome Lewis to Mackenzie’s, Grand Canal Dock for what should be a brilliant afternoon of stories, honesty, laughs and insight.

We’re also incredibly proud to be doing it in association with the Motor Neurone Disease , a cause that means a huge amount.

The Sporting Club Ireland is about connecting good people through the power of sport. Creating the right rooms, making meaningful introductions, building relationships and creating real opportunities for the people and businesses involved.

This feels like a very good example of exactly what we’re trying to build.

27 days out. We cannot wait. 🙌
