European Travel Tip #5: Think carefully about what you’ll pack to wear on your body and your feet. Bring comfortable, climate appropriate clothing, but be mindful where you’ll be going.
Many historical religious sites require visitors to cover their knees and shoulders. Be respectful of the dress codes and customs; bring modest, light layers that can be easily packed around. Be realistic about footwear. Pick something you are comfortable walking in.
