“Hi” everyone, the theme throughout “Little Nippers” this week was “ Father’s Day “.

Both Pods learned songs and rhymes and how to make the letter “D” for “Dad”.
Special crafts were also made! A great fun week was had by the children in both Pods!

“Hi” everyone one, themes for this week were in Pod 1 “Boats”⛵️and in Pod 2 it was a continuation of their “Shells” 🐚theme.

Pod 2 created a beach 🏖️ with sand and shells 🐚. They found lots of items from the beach 🏖️, including crab 🦀 shells and crab 🦀 claws , seaweed, and shells 🐚. The children learned songs and rhymes, and they listened to stories to help reinforce their theme.

The children in Pod 1 were also very busy this week. We chatted and played games about boats ⛵️ which was our theme. The children drew and coloured boats and they also made their own little boats ⛵️to play with!

“Hi” everyone the themes the children carried out this week were “Ice Cream” 🍦 in Pod 1 and “ Shells” 🐚 in Pod 2.

Pod 1 were busy trying not to let their lovely Ice Cream’s 🍦 melt which they made ! The children learned poems about ice cream 🍦and they had to give their grasses another cutting this week!

The theme in Pod 2 was “ Shells” 🐚. The children had great fun painting and decorating their shells 🐚. Lots of fun activities also supported their theme this week!

“Hi” everyone, our themes for the week in “Little Nippers” were in Pod 1 a continuation of our “Summer/Beach” theme so this week we did all about the “Shark” 🦈. The children in Pod 2 also did a continuation of their caterpillar 🐛 theme which was the “Butterfly “ 🦋

In Pod 1 we chatted about Sharks 🦈 and got to learn some facts about them.
The children created their own Sharks 🦈 in painting time and in arts/ creativity!
They were also very busy keeping their grass and sunflower 🌻 seeds watered! The children also took time out to give their grasses a bit of a trim with their safety scissors ✂️✂️

The children in Pod 2 did all about the “Butterfly “ 🦋 a continuation of their “Caterpillar “ 🐛 theme from last week. The children had plenty of fun activities and outdoor fun too this week!

“Hi” everyone, themes from the children in Pod 1 and Pod 2 this week were in Pod 1 a continuation of our “ Beach” 🏝️ theme , this week we learned about “Jellyfish “🪼. Pod 2 did all about the “Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛 “

The children in Pod 2 talked about the lifecycle of a “Caterpillar 🐛” and reinforced their theme through stories, rhymes, and fun activities!

Super work 👏👏🥰

In Pod 1 the children were very busy learning about “Jellyfish “ 🪼. They made their very own Jellyfish 🪼 and drew lovely pictures of the beach 🏖️. We also learned some facts about Jellyfish 🪼 and a poem and song 🎵! In their busy week the children also found time to make an alphabet jigsaw 🧩 😊

“Hi” everyone, another very busy week in “Little Nippers”.

Theme in Pod 1 was a continuation of our “ Plants/Seeds”🌻theme from last week.
The children in Pod 2 also continued with their theme from last week which was “ Owls”🦉.

The children in Pod 1 painted and decorated their flower pots. They then set “Sunflower” 🌻seeds in them! The children will take care and look after their own Sunflowers 🌻 and hopefully we will have lovely Sunflowers 🌻 very soon. We also planted a conker which had started to sprout 🌱. All our activities were centred around seeds and planting!

“Hi” everyone, themes in “Little Nippers” for this week were in Pod 1 “Seeds/Planting” 🌱and in Pod 2 it was Owls 🦉.

In Pod 1 we chatted about seeds🌱 and how you need soil, sun☀️and water 💦 to help them grow! The children set some grass seeds so hopefully 🤞 we’ll have grass soon! They also made carrot 🥕 gardens by painting carrots 🥕 and stamping them on their pages!
We celebrated Noah’s 3rd birthday this week so a big happy 3rd Birthday 🎈 Noah 🎂🎉

In Pod 2 the children learned some facts about birds 🐦 and nests and they also made chocolate nests with eggs 🪺 in them! They had a lot of fun exploring their birds 🐦 theme this week!

“Hi” everyone, themes for the week in Little Nippers were a continuation of our “Bees” theme in Pod 1 and “Volcanoes 🌋 “ in Pod 2.

The children in Pod 1 drew and painted bee 🐝 hives and bees 🐝. We chatted about bees 🐝, where they live, and how there is only one Queen bee 🐝 in the hive, and how the bees 🐝 make honey 🍯 etc.
All games, poem and songs were all focused on our Bee 🐝 theme!

Great work Pod 1 💕👏👏👏👏

Over in Pod 2 their theme was all about “Volcanoes “ 🌋. The children learned some very interesting facts about Volcanoes 🌋. They created fun activities to support this theme and even made their own erupting Volcano 🌋.

We all enjoyed our lunches outside in the sunshine 🌞

“Hi” everyone, themes for this week in “Little Nippers” were “Dinosaurs” 🦖and “Bees”🐝.

Pod 2’s theme was all about Dinosaurs 🦖. The children used lots of fun activities to explore all the facts about dinosaurs 🦖 including songs and rhymes!
Well done 👏, super work everyone 👏👏👏🥰

The children in Pod 1 learned all about Bees 🐝 and Spring time! We chatted about the bees how they make honey 🍯, their colours, etc. The children learned a poem about bees too🐝. We also had a visit from Conall’s wee Sammy snail 🐌 today.

We celebrated Charlie’s 4th birthday this week as well, a very happy “4th birthday” Charlie 🥳🎉🎂🎈
