Another 2nd fix of networking on this new build.
12 port switch supplied and 3 boosters.
I moved the modem from the front office room to the attic where the network cables are.
Cables management completed.
The customer is now getting over 300 mbps speeds in 90% of his house even with solid walls and concrete floors/ceilings.

Another 2nd fix of networking on this new build.
12 port switch supplied and 3 boosters.
I moved the modem from the corner of the plant room to the attic where the network cables are.
There was no link from the plant room to the attic so I needed to complete that cable run.
Cables management completed and the switch and power socket screwed to the solid wall.
The customer is now getting over 300 mbps speeds in 90% of his house even with solid walls and concrete floors/ceilings.

Another shared ftth from the main house where fibre connection is to a new modular house.
I set up a P2P connection between the two houses and the new modular house is getting 200 mbps download. I did something different this time and spray painted the receiver unit matt black to blend in to the down pipe I cable tied it to.
I helped set up the smart TV and also customers smart phone.

3 cable runs, 4 port switch installed and 6 Wi-Fi boosters installed on this project for a old Manor House
The 3 separate cable runs- 2 external and 1 internal. Working with very thick walls and single glazed fragile glass was challenging to say the least.
I got there in the end and now the Wi-Fi signal is very strong in the guest rooms and bedrooms

In this project I set up a Point to point from an office not too far from this new build as there is no fibre available near his house. The 1st premises where I took a fed from has a 1gb fibre connection.
Work completed -
*set up a P2P (240 mbps download 50mbps upload)
*installed a 24 port switch
*installed a 24 port patch panel
*patched all the data points
*configured and installed 6 access points to give 75-100% Wi-Fi coverage through out the house

Another fibre connection shared for the same customer to help keeps bills down. Main fibre connection was terminated in the main house and I created a link to provide Wi-Fi and terminate the two data points in the granny-flat.
*All cables terminated and labelled
*All data points tested and labelled
*3 pack of Wi-Fi boosters set up and installed
*2 separate TP Link switches installed
*Smart tvs set up and Apple TV set up.

Another new build with no network installed yet.
Modem was installed in his utility room so wifi signal off the modem was poor throughout the house.
I labelled each of the data cables, cable managed, installed 5 Wi-Fi access points and also a 8 port switch.
He had 75%-100% throughout whole house up and downstairs. And also smart tvs and PlayStations now have a hard wire feed to get full speeds.
