That time of year again guys..
Here we have a Navien 21kw oil boiler which we have setup on a 3 zone system on optheherm using Eph controls. Apparently this is the 1st oil boiler to be done this way.
As you can see from the pictures the old boiler was in fair disarray..
we have estimated this system will pay for itself within 5 years with the way its setup.

A 1st for us. 300l maxi pod thermal store from copper industries
This very efficient system is fed with 21 photovoltaic panels through an Eddie controller (1 year old)
Sime oil boiler (existing)
Grant tripple bypass back boiler (existing)
All of the above are used to heat the hot water and radiators in the house via a newly fitted Hive 3 zone kit fitted by A&G
This setup doesn’t require the necessary 60° temp to kill off Legionella bacteria as there is no stored domestic water
We fed the system with a 3 bar Stuart Turner Itank. Safe and effective High pressure hot and cold water. This unit is a game changer
We also flushed the system using our magnaclense unit as the radiators only heated around the edges as shown below.

Not your usual gas boiler install

We removed a 25 year old 58kw cast iron gas boiler which was a great boiler in its day but due to be upgraded.
We set this boiler at 50% of its capacity and the boiler still heats all 30 big double radiators with no issues. Meaning a minimum 50% savings on there gas bills
An amazing boiler to install and setup with a multitude of functions.

Recent System to Combi swap using the new
Baxi 824 combi 2 with 10 year warranty
The customer was fed up of low hot water pressure and waiting for hot water
They now have hot water on demand
This boiler is set up on opentherm/ load compensation using the Eph Cp4
Nice efficient setup for the coming winter
