Day 2 at the Royal Cornwall Show and that Cornish rain hasn't stopped a brilliant crowd from heading over to Stand 521 to see the live demos. Fair play to everyone braving the elements...

Anyone who's spent a wet afternoon cutting firewood knows just how slick wet bark and soaked pallets can get. If you’re using an old-school fixed sawhorse, the timber loves to spin the second the chainsaw chain bites, and that's just an accident waiting to happen.

That’s exactly why the Croc is built with those independent steel teeth. They bite straight through the slickness, letting the weight of the log or pallet lock itself completely solid. Once it's in there, it won't budge, and there's no messing around with manual clamps when you are out in a downpour.

The lads are out today running live demos all day so if you’re knocking about, call by Stand 521 to check out the full range.

Can a chainsaw saw horse safely handle flat planks and pallets? Here is how the Timber Croc log holder manages multi-use timber without mechanical clamps.

Des answers two of our most frequent questions from the showgrounds. For standard planks, the independent steel teeth automatically adjust to secure anything from an inch up to 11.5 inches square.

When recycling old pallets for kindling, dropping the pallet's corner block into the teeth locks the entire platform at waist height. This setup gives you a clear line of sight to every nail, keeping your chainsaw chain sharp and your workflow safe. This clip also gives you a first look at our new grey finish. Let us know what you think of the color in the comments.

Royal Cornwall Show starts tomorrow. Drop by our stand to see the full lineup in person.

Ask any experienced person cutting light timber down on the ground is one of the most dangerous jobs you can do with a chainsaw.

Why? The wood is so small and light, the chain is almost guaranteed to catch the dirt. Once that happens, your chain is blunt, kickback is bound to happen, and that’s exactly how serious accidents occur. So we say to people all the time, why would you take the risk?

Day two here at the Royal Bath and West Show, and we’re showing people how to avoid that nightmare completely.

Watch how the independent steel teeth on the Timber Croc bite into even the smallest, lightest pieces of wood. It locks the timber solid at waist height so it can’t twist, spin, or slip. No dangerous balancing acts, no blunt chains, and no wrecked back.

Day one at the Royal Bath and West and the gates are open.

After 15 years of doing these shows, the reaction is always the same. People walk up, look at the independent teeth, and you see the exact moment it clicks for them.

The main thing we keep hearing today is how much people hate dragging someone else out to the yard just to hold a log steady. The teeth on the Timber Croc bite in so you don't have to worry about keeping the log steady. It acts as those second pair of hands, to help you get the job done safely on your own before the summer growth takes over.

We’re at Stand 347 all day. Come over, drop a log into it, and see for yourself.

No more hanging around waiting for other people to come and help me."

We hear that all the time, and honestly, it’s the exact reason we build the Timber Croc.

Cutting up firewood used to be a two-person job. You either needed someone else there to hold the log steady, or you were doing that dangerous balancing act trying to pin the wood down with your boot while operating a live chainsaw.

Our Galvanised 3-Point Link (Cat 1) completely changes that. It grips the timber solid at waist height so a solo operator can safely cut up everything from heavy logs to smaller wood completely on their own. No waiting around on anyone else, no awkward bending, and no wrecked back. You just crack on and get the job done.

If you want to see exactly how it works, we’re over at the Royal Bath and West Show this week. We’ll have the flagship range right there on the stand doing live demonstrations so you can see the grip and the build quality for yourself.

If you’re around the show over the next few days, come on down to the stand and say hello.

We are at Stand 347 - Avenue B

The trailer is officially packed and we’re heading over to the UK this week for the Royal Bath and West Show.

We’re bringing the full lineup with us this time, the flagship log holders, the 3-point link models, and the logging trailer are all loaded up and ready to go.

We’ve been chatting to a lot of lads this month who are flat out trying to get their paddocks and headlands cleared before the summer growth completely takes over. If you’re heading to the show, definitely come find our stand, say hello, and see the gear up close.

Safe travels to anyone else on the road this week. See you there.

Yes, they come in pink, and yes, we do free delivery across Ireland and Northern Ireland. 🚚

But colour aside, we’re back with part two of our backsavers, focusing on our flagship heavy duty log holder.

If you’re still bending right down to the ground to cut firewood, or trying to steady a log with your boot, you’re just making hard work for yourself.

Our flagship Timber Croc log holder is built to take the strain completely out of wood cutting. It grips the timber solid at waist height so you can focus on cutting safely and getting through the pile in half the time. No fighting the wood, and no backache the next morning.

So whether you want the standard green or the bright pink heavy duty steel, the rugged design is exactly the same.

Cutting firewood shouldn't be a battle. When the equipment does the holding for you, the job is straightforward.

Simple as that.

"Fabulous" isn’t a word we use a whole lot. Usually, when we talk about our range we describe it as being tough or handy.

Someone sent us a message this week and used that exact word to describe the Timber Croc, and to be fair to him, when you look at what he was doing before, you can see his point.

He was doing what half the country does, bending right down to the ground, trying to pin a log steady with the toe of his boot, and hoping for the best with the chainsaw. It’s awkward, and your back is fairly wrecked by the end of it.

For him, "fabulous" just meant the timber is held solid at waist height, the job gets done in half the time, and he’s fit and ready to head out the next morning.

You shouldn't have to fight the wood just to get a bit of timber cut. When the equipment does the holding for you, the job is simple.
