Facebook offers a way for local businesses to create digital gift cards so customers can continue support them through these challenging times.
Facebook is offering a way for your customers and prospects to support your business with GIFT CARDS. This is particularly aimed at providing digital gift cards for people's favorite local businesses. If you are a local business owner, you set up a gift card with one of Facebook's partners: Square or Kabbage. Go to: facebook.com/business/boost/gift-cards
π Once youβve successfully set up your gift card, Facebook says, "people in your community will be able to discover it on Facebook and purchase if they choose." So, in addition to having your gift card appear in the gift card listing/registry and shown to local people in their FB news feed, you could also share posts on FB, publish to your Stories on FB & IG, showcase on a FB Live, share across other social channels, send out via your Messenger chatbot, email your subscribers, etc.
[NOTE: the gift card feature may only be available in the US for now. Boo! But will hopefully expand to other countries, and it's also apparently coming to Instagram.]
