Founded in 1935 by John Mulholland Snr., the company was originally based in Galway City but has expanded in recent years, opening branches in the greater Galway area, Mayo and Limerick. There are currently 17 John Mulholland outlets all offering a complete and modern betting service in comfort

able surroundings. Customer service, value and integrity are the pillars that the John Mulholland brand has been built on. John Mulholland Bookmaker was awarded the Best Regional Bookmaker award at the inaugural Sports Betting Awards 2009. The family's history in local sport is reflected in a wide range of original markets especially local GAA. The firm is now run by Alan & Eddie Mulholland, sons of John.
