Director Fidelma Dunne has been inducted into the Royal Irish Academy alongside 27 other members, these newly elected Members were officially admitted to the Academy, for their exceptional contributions to the sciences, humanities and social sciences, as well as to public service. Acceptance into the Royal Irish Academy is one of the highest honours and indicates the exceptional work these people have made to Irish Society as recognised by a rigorous review of the persons work, standing, research and their contributions to the discipline, only 10 members are accepted each year in the sciences and the network is very proud that Director Dunne’s is one of those ten members.
