🌞 From challenge to opportunity.

This unique solar installation was built on the site of a former Leylandii hedge, requiring a completely bespoke design to make the most of the available space and its beautiful surroundings.

With a significant fall in the ground from east to west, we engineered the structure to slope in two directions, maximising solar generation while maintaining a sleek, low-profile appearance.

The result? A stunning installation that blends seamlessly into the landscape and will provide decades of clean, reliable, and low-cost energy.

When roof space is at a premium, smart design makes all the difference. By combining roof-mounted panels with panels installed on a custom-built structure, these clients achieved a perfectly sized solar system while also creating a stylish covered outdoor space. ⚡🏡

One of the most overlooked ways to get more from solar is simply upgrading your existing system.

While it can sometimes be complex, it’s often far more straightforward—and cost-effective—than people expect.

On this recent project in North Tipperary, we expanded a system from 4.8kWp to 9.85kWp by adding additional panels to a beautiful coach house roof. The result? More than double the generating capacity for a relatively modest investment.

For this local microbrewery, that means significantly lower energy costs, reduced CO₂ emissions, and a big step forward in their sustainability journey.

Something a bit different this week! We dont usually do roofs without solar, but in this case we were tasked with re-roofing an old mass concrete shed, that had fallen into disrepair. The corrugated steel in red oxide, with custom fabricated matching doors, nicely compliment the Douglas Fir Shiplap, on the front Gable. Grateful to be involved in bringing an old building back to its former glory. It will make a fantastic light filled workshop for many years to come!
