Our client TRIBE Restaurant is ticking all the boxes! This family-run spot in Duleek, Co. Meath, set within a beautifully restored church in the heart of the town, is embracing an exciting new direction under former Ballymaloe student and teacher Aidan Ryan.

Aidan and his brother Glenn make nearly everything from scratch—sourdough breads and pizza bases, hand-rolled fresh pasta, and many dishes cooked over fire. It’s truly a labour of love! And we can’t forget the soft serve, infused with passion fruit and presented like crown jewels—scroll to see that masterpiece!

📚 Jp McMahon Announces Launch of ‘Plays 2012 - 2024’ 📚

Along with the launch of his latest book, his first collection of plays, entitled Plays 2012 - 2024’, has been announced as a winner of the 2024 PJ O'Connor Radio Drama Awards with his play ‘The Last Room’.

Dr. Charlotte McIvor, along with Galway-based playwright Christian O'Reilly, will join the chef, restaurateur, and author to launch his first collection of plays in the O'Donoughe Centre at the University of Galway today, Thursday, the 12th of December at 5.30 pm.

Between 2017 and 2021, Jp completed a PhD in Drama at the University of Galway. His PhD focused on playwrighting and how food makes meaning in the theatre, restaurant and gallery. Three plays in the collection (‘Irish Food. A Play’, ‘Dante.Beckett.Lobster’. and ‘Killing Lobsters’) were all written as part of his PhD. The others were written over a lengthy period of time from 2012-2024.

PLAYS, 2012-2024 will be available to buy from the website, along with Jp's other books, the perfect Chrishtmas gift for the food lover 🥘
