The Masters tournament from Augusta National starts next Thursday. The ProShop is again currently running its Masters Competition alongside the event to bring a bit of added fun to the week and they have some fantastic prizes on offer.

Attached is the entry sheet. It will be run with the same format as other years and the rules are on top of the entry sheet.

There is boxes left in the proshop and upstairs in the bar for entries or you can email your entry to [email protected] or whatsapp Derek to 0877570930.

Payment can be made by calling the shop on 091552131, by bank transfer to IBAN IE30BOFI90377919169818 or by revolut to Derek on 0877570930. Envelopes will be left at the entry boxes at the club so please put your entry sheet, name and money into the envelope and then into the box.

One of the most enjoyable weeks coaching I have ever had…what a joy all these kids are to be around…stars all of them!

Thanks to Ann Marie Walsh for getting this up and going and it’s great to say that this is only the start as we will now start our Golf for All program at the club.

Junior Coaching 2025

Junior Coaching for 2025 restarts on April 26th

Numbers for coaching are restricted to max 12 per group with a first come first serve policy

This summer coaching will be over 8 weeks for €75
€65 second and third child.

Coaching Timetable

Saturdays

2pm to 3pm Improvers
Second class will be added if needed

Beginners (New to Club) 3pm to 4pm
Coaching dates – April 26th, May 3rd, 17th, 24th, June 7th, 21st, July 5th, 19th

Advanced Boys (have a handicap) will now be on Tuesday evenings for the first 4 weeks and will then switch to Mondays for the last 4 weeks starting in May

Intermediate Boys (over 12 yrs and new to the Club in the last few years and without a handicap) will follow the same dates

Advanced Boys – May 6th, 20th, 27th, June 3rd, all Tuesday evenings at 7pm – June 16th, 30th, July 14th, 28th, all Mondays at 1.30pm

Intermediate Boys – May 6th, 20th, 27th, June 3rd, all Tuesday evenings at 6pm – June 16th, 30th, July 14th, 28th, all Mondays at 12.30pm

A fantastic two days of golf in Castlebar GC from Kate Dillion leaves her with an 8 shot lead going into tomorrow mornings final round on -5 in the Connacht Girls Championship.

Riona Murphy is currently in 16th place.
