🎥 New video update from the LOTTI project!

WestBIC is a proud partner on LOTTI (Learning and transferring Of Territorial development Tools and Innovation), co-funded through Interreg Europe.

In this update, James Donlon, Unit Manager for WestBIC's Collaborative Innovation Projects, shares the latest progress here in Mayo. Working with Mayo County Council, the Local Enterprise Office and Údarás na Gaeltachta, the old military barracks in Ballina town centre has been transformed into the IQ Centre — a thriving innovation hub inspired by Euratechnologies in Lille, France. And that's just the start: similar plans are now underway for Castlebar and a proposed Smart Technology Park in Claremorris.

🎉 Celebrating Eunan Cunningham’s Retirement

After an incredible 33 years with WestBIC, we’re saying a very fond farewell to Eunan Cunningham as he begins his retirement.

Eunan joined WestBIC in 1993 and has been an important part of our organisation throughout its journey, supporting entrepreneurs, businesses and innovation across the West of Ireland over more than three decades.

Throughout the years, Eunan has shared his knowledge, experience and commitment with countless businesses and colleagues, making a lasting contribution to both WestBIC and the wider enterprise community.
