π BIG NEWS FOR YOUNG FARMERS IN THE MIDLANDS π
We're delighted to announce that Midland Agri Consultants has secured funding from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine to deliver a major Farm Machinery Safety Programme for Young People in the Granard area.
As everyone involved in farming knows, safety around machinery is more important than ever. Many young people are helping out on farms from an early age, and we believe the best way to learn is through practical, hands-on experience in a safe and controlled environment.
That's why these one-day practical workshops will be delivered on real working farms, giving participants the opportunity to learn around the machinery, equipment and situations they are likely to encounter in everyday farm life.
The programme is aimed at young people aged 14β18 years who have a connection to farming β whether they live on a farm, help out at home, have family involved in farming, or simply have a keen interest in agriculture and farm life.
We're also proud that Midland Agri Consultants is a Lantra Approved Training Centre, with all training delivered by Thomas Quinn and Paul Belton, both Lantra Approved Agricultural Training Instructors.
There will be 480 places available, and we expect these to fill very quickly.
Our goal is simple β to help young people build confidence, develop practical skills and, most importantly, stay safe around farm machinery.
More details on dates, locations and how to register will be announced soon.
Please like, share and tag anyone who might be interested. Let's work together to make our farms safer for the next generation. ππΎ
