Same accident. Different rules.

Many online safety courses sold in Ireland are written for UK law. That matters more than you might think.

🇬🇧 A UK-based course may teach that an injury is reportable under RIDDOR after more than 7 days off work.
🇮🇪 In Ireland, it must be reported to the HSA after more than 3.

UK courses also refer to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, COSHH and the Manual Handling Operations Regulations. Irish employers answer to the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Chemical Agents Regulations and the General Application Regulations 2007.

Wrong law = wrong training.
