And just like that, it’s time to say goodbye to one of our own. 🥹🤍

Tomorrow, Jordan sets off on a new adventure, and while we couldn’t be happier for him, saying goodbye is never easy.

Jordan has been part of the Affinity Plus story since the very beginning, back when Affinity Plus was nothing more than a thought. From those early days to the team we are today, he has been there every step of the way.

He has been one of our biggest supporters since the day our doors opened, a true mentor, a voice of reason, a problem solver and someone who has always believed in what we do. His dedication, knowledge, guidance and support have helped shape Affinity Plus into what it is today, and for that, we will always be grateful. 🫶🏼

Jordan, thank you for everything you have given to Affinity Plus, for the laughs, the lessons, the encouragement and for always being in our corner. You have been so much more than a colleague to so many of us, and your presence around the office will be missed more than words can say.

What an incredible evening at the HCCI Awards, celebrating the amazing people who dedicate themselves to caring for others every single day.

Our wonderful Nurse Marie was nominated for Nurse of the Year, and while she may not have brought home the trophy, she certainly came away with something just as important — a team of people who are incredibly proud of her. 🥰

Being recognised among so many outstanding healthcare professionals is a fantastic achievement in itself, and we couldn’t be happier to have had the opportunity to celebrate Marie and everything she brings to our team. ❤️

Marie, you should be incredibly proud of yourself! 🌟 Your kindness, compassion and dedication are appreciated every day, and to us, that’s something worth celebrating all year round. 👩‍⚕️❤️

September is Su***de Prevention Month, but as we leave September behind, the conversation shouldn’t end with it. 💚

Looking after each other, checking in and being conscious of the people around us is something we can do all year round.

Sometimes it really is the simplest things.

Smile at someone as you pass.
Say hello.
Ask how their day is going.
Send that message.
Give someone a genuine compliment.

You never really know what someone else is carrying, or what kind of day they’re having.

We don’t need to wait for a particular month to remind ourselves to be kind.

September may be the month we talk about it more, but kindness, connection and looking out for one another should be something we practise every day. 💪🏼

You never know the difference a small act of kindness could make.

Some of you may remember Katie’s complete and utter breakdown when she couldn’t get tickets for this year’s Harry gigs. 🎟️😭

Well, rather than accepting defeat like a normal person, Katie decided to involve the entire office in her crisis.

Last week, we were all dragged away from our actual jobs for Operation: Get Katie to Harry. An entire hour of our morning was sacrificed to the Ticketmaster gods as we battled queues, crashes, panic and the very real possibility of having to listen to Katie complain about this for the rest of the year. 😂

BUT… against all odds… SHE DID IT.

And honestly, the relief around the office was immense.

Not because we were delighted for her…

…but because WE CAN FINALLY STOP HEARING ABOUT IT. 😂🙌

As a final act of mercy, we’ve even given her the day off to go and see Harry.

One hour of office productivity lost. One day of annual leave avoided. One very loud colleague temporarily removed from the building.

Worth it. 😂

This September, communities across Ireland will come together to walk for memories, raise awareness and show their support for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia 👟

The Alzheimer’s Memory Walk takes place on Sunday, 20th September, with two walks taking place here in Co. Kildare:
