As photographers we get to share in some of the happiest moments of peoples lives. On Tuesday it wasn't such a happy event, i had my first experience of a wonderful organisation called Now i Lay Me Down To Sleep. It's a voluntary organisation of Photographers providing the gift of remembrance photography to bereaved parents who dont ever get a chance to take their child home from hospital. It is new to Ireland and we are trying to raise awareness so that more parents can have a chance to capture these short precious moments with their child. Below is a link to the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland who have been very supportive of NILMDTS photographers. They are an irish not for profit organisation set up by bereaved parents to offer support not previously available to grieving parents. Please share and help raise awareness of this wonderful charity.

Feleacain was founded by a group of bereaved parents in Ireland who came together to offer hope and support to other parents who unfortunately have suffered the loss of a baby through stillbirth or neonatal death.
