Supervision for Play Therapists A play therapy and art psychotherapist is someone who is trained to post graduate level to help children and adolescent with some kind of problem in their lives. Play and Art Psychotherapy allows children and adole

• Managing Behaviours that Challenge. Play therapy and Art Psychotherapy sessions are available on request by contacting Marian on 087 2391308. Play Therapy and Art Therapy sessions are generally one to one sessions for 50 minutes. Group Work offered in the following areas;
Group work for children/adolescent who have experienced separation. Building Self-Esteem through creative arts. Group work for children /adolescent presenting with anxiety. Group Work to develop social skills. Group Work to build resilience and coping skills. The groups are kept small to ensure there is enough time and space for everyone and run over an six/eight week period. Parenting Support:

Parenting Programmes- Focusing on Positive Parenting and helping you to get into a positive pattern of parenting. Co-operative Parenting after separation- shielding your child from conflict. Parent/child work to build attachment

Play Therapy sessions currently available at Kildare Play and Art Psychotherapy.

Play Therapy helps children:
- regulate their feelings and emotions
- who have experienced loss, parental separation and bereavement
- who have poor self-esteem
- build social skills
