Siobhan recently visited Paddy Oโ€™Donnell at his home in Kilfassasy, Co. Waterford, to meet Lot 284 in our October Sport Horse Sale. By Grandorado, out of Lucy Penny by White Clover, this 4-year-old comes from a strong jumping family, with his dam having enjoyed a very successful career in the ring.

Having been carefully produced and campaigned this season, this young horse has benefited from an exceptional training environment. With the beach on his doorstep and spectacular cliff-edge views for canter work, he has enjoyed a level of variety and education that is truly unique. Paddy takes great pride in the range of experiences he can offer his horses, developing them with a varied routine beyond the traditional arena setting.

Michael shares his thoughts on his two riding horses and the time and care invested in their production throughout the season.
