Looking forward to attending the All-Ireland Entrepreneurs Summit at Croke Park this Wednesday.

As a business owner, I always value opportunities to connect with other entrepreneurs, learn from industry leaders, and gain fresh perspectives that can help shape future growth and impact.

Events like this are a great reminder of the power of collaboration, innovation, and the importance of building strong networks. After all, some of the best ideas, opportunities, and partnerships start with a conversation.

If you’re attending, I’d love to connect and hear more about your business and the work you’re doing.

See you at Croke Park!

Regulation is one of the most talked about topics in education and support services right now.

Yet many people have never actually been taught what regulation is.

Regulation is not about compliance.

It is the ability to manage emotions, stress, sensory experiences, and everyday demands.

And when a person is dysregulated, learning, communication, and problem-solving become much harder.

The more we understand regulation, the better we can support people.

One of the things that makes the Neurodiversity Conference: Supporting Regulation different is the focus on practical takeaways.

We know professionals do not need more information that sits in a folder.
They need ideas, strategies, and approaches they can bring back into their classrooms, therapy rooms, and services.

The aim is simple.
To help professionals feel more confident supporting the children and young people they work with.

As we move into June, I’ve been reflecting on a recurring theme from conversations, training sessions, and consultancy work over the past month.

People thrive when they feel psychologically safe, understood, and supported.

Whether in workplaces, schools, healthcare settings, or community organisations, the environment plays a significant role in whether people can participate fully, contribute their strengths, and feel a genuine sense of belonging.

Meaningful inclusion is not about asking people to fit into existing systems. It is about creating environments where different ways of thinking, learning, communicating, and working are recognised and valued.

At TSK Academy, we support organisations through training, consultancy, speaking engagements, and professional development to help make inclusion practical, meaningful, and sustainable.

📩 If your organisation is looking for neuro-inclusive training or consultancy support, we’d love to hear from you

Many organisations are investing heavily in recruitment while unintentionally losing talented employees because their workplace culture does not support different ways of thinking, communicating, and working.

Inclusion is not simply about hiring diverse talent.

It is about creating environments where people can stay, contribute, and thrive.
The organisations seeing the greatest success are focusing on psychological safety, inclusive leadership, accessibility, and meaningful flexibility.

These are not just inclusion strategies.
They are performance strategies.

To everyone starting their Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate exams this week, we want to wish you the very best of luck.

Remember, exams measure what you can demonstrate on a particular day, under particular circumstances. They do not measure your worth, your character, your kindness, your creativity, or your potential.

Do your best with the knowledge and skills you have prepared. Take breaks, stay hydrated, get as much rest as you can, and be kind to yourself throughout the process.

For parents, carers, and educators, this can be a stressful time too. Sometimes the greatest support we can offer is reassurance, encouragement, and reminding young people that they are valued regardless of the outcome.

Take a deep breath. One exam at a time.

Wishing every student confidence, calm, and success over the coming weeks.

Across schools, services, and family homes, many professionals are noticing increasing levels of anxiety, overwhelm, school distress, and emotional dysregulation.

The challenge is not recognising that children are struggling.
The challenge is knowing how to respond in ways that genuinely help.
The Neurodiversity Conference: Supporting Regulation has been designed to bridge that gap.

This is a practical day focused on understanding regulation, emotional safety, sensory needs, communication, and connection.
You will leave with strategies you can actually use.

What a fantastic day at the BNI Ireland National Conference on Friday.

The day began with a Mega Meeting, bringing together members from chapters across Ireland for structured networking, referral mining, and relationship building. We delivered our 60-second presentations, took part in speed networking sessions, and had the opportunity to learn more about each other’s businesses. I particularly enjoyed learning more about Orla Kelly and her publishing company.

The conference itself was expertly hosted by Hugh Magee and opened by our National Director, Gavin Teehan, whose words, “there’s no strength without unity”, perfectly captured the spirit of the day.

Ciaran Murray spoke about BNI’s plans for growth and the importance of continually expanding our networks. One message that resonated strongly was that your network truly is your net worth. The more people we connect with, the more opportunities we create for ourselves and others.

One of the highlights for me was the wellbeing panel featuring Adrian Kelly, Rebecca Sheridan, Dr Terry McIvor, Dr Fiona Barry and Lucy Cronly. Some key takeaways included:

✔ Protect your recovery time
✔ Be intentional with your time
✔ Invest in yourself – because no me = no business
✔ Pause, reflect and reframe
✔ Focus on consistency over perfection

We then had the privilege of hearing from Dr Ivan Misner, the founder of BNI. His message was simple but powerful: “Be here now.” Be present, be attentive, and truly listen.

The afternoon was filled with breakout sessions, round-table discussions, more networking opportunities, and a celebration of one of BNI’s core values: recognition.

A huge thank you to the Bridge House Hotel for their hospitality and to the BNI Ireland team for organising such a well-run and inspiring event.

Days like this remind me why I value being part of BNI. It’s not just about business growth; it’s about relationships, learning, supporting one another, and building a community where everyone can succeed together.

Today is International Children's Day.

Every child deserves to feel safe, understood, valued, and supported.
Yet many children spend their days navigating environments that don't always meet their needs. Some are managing sensory overwhelm. Some are carrying anxiety that others cannot see. Some are trying their very best to cope while appearing "fine" on the surface.

When we understand what sits beneath behaviour, we create opportunities for connection rather than conflict and support rather than punishment.

That is one of the reasons we created the Neurodiversity Conference: Supporting Regulation.
Because when adults better understand regulation, children benefit.

🎟 Join us on Sunday, 20th September at the Osprey Hotel for a full day of practical learning and strategies to support children and young people.

🏳️🌈 Happy Pride Month 🏳️🌈

At TSK Academy, we believe that every person deserves to feel safe, valued, respected, and able to be their authentic self.

Inclusion is not about asking people to fit into environments that were not designed with them in mind. It is about creating spaces where diversity is welcomed, differences are respected, and everyone has the opportunity to belong.

As we mark Pride Month, we celebrate LGBTQ+ individuals and recognise the importance of creating communities, workplaces, services, and educational environments where people can live openly and authentically without fear of judgement or discrimination.

Because inclusion is not just about awareness.
It is about action.
It is about dignity.
It is about human rights.
And it is about ensuring that everyone has a place where they feel they belong.

Happy Pride Month from all of us at TSK Academy. 🌈
