Day 3: Limescale Lift-Off

Task: Today, let’s tackle any limescale buildup in your kitchen or bathroom, especially on faucets, showerheads, and sinks.

Instructions:

1. Vinegar Soak: Soak a cloth in white vinegar and wrap it around the limescale-covered area (like a faucet or showerhead). Leave it for 30 minutes to an hour.

2. Baking Soda Paste: While that’s soaking, make a paste using baking soda and a bit of water. Apply it to any additional limescale spots, like on the sink or taps.

3. Lemon Scrub: Rub half a lemon over the limescale areas. The acid will help break down any stubborn spots.

4. Tin Foil Polish: After the vinegar has soaked in, gently scrub the area with crumpled tin foil. This helps loosen up any remaining buildup without scratching.

Tip: Rinse all areas thoroughly with water once finished and dry with a cloth for a nice shine!

🛋️ Bring Your Couch Back to Life in a Flash! 🛋️
The couch is where we all gather, so it can get a bit of a battering over time. Here’s a quick way to freshen it up:

1. Give it a Good Hoover: Grab your hoover and run it over the whole couch, especially in the nooks where crumbs love to hide.

2. Freshen with a Simple Spray: Mix some warm water and a few drops of essential oil (lavender or eucalyptus are lovely) in a spray bottle. Give the couch a light sprit just enough to leave it smelling fresh, but not soaking!

3. Fluff Up the Cushions: If you can, take the cushions off, give them a good fluff, and pop them back on in a different spot to keep them looking their best.

💡 Handy Tip: If there’s a little stain, dab at it with water and a tiny drop of dish soap before hoovering. This’ll keep your couch looking (and smelling) like new!

2. Remove Shelves & Drawers: If possible, take out shelves and drawers. Wash them with warm, soapy water in the sink, then rinse and dry completely.

3. Natural Cleaner: Mix a bowl of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice and a splash of white vinegar. Wipe down the fridge interior with a microfiber cloth soaked in the solution, focusing on any sticky spots or spills.

4. Fresh Scent: For a long-lasting, natural fresh scent, place a small bowl with a few slices of lemon or orange and a sprig of mint in the back of the fridge.
