We had a great time pouring our mead at the Mad Hatter’s Ball in Kinsale this past weekend. It’s one of the highlights of the Kinsale year, and a lovely chance to introduce people to the food and drink made right here in town. ✨

Ten years of making mead in Kinsale, and there's no other edition we'd rather mark it with. The Wildflower Irish Mead spent time in Irish Wh***ey Casks from Midleton Distillery. Irish wildflower honey from Paul Kelly's bees in Ring, Irish oak, and single pot still wh***ey, all sitting in the one bottle. Crisp green apple and hawthorn up front, soft floral honey through the middle, and it finishes on roasted vanilla and cocoa picked up from the single pot still Irish wh***ey. Ten years in, it's the most Irish mead we've made. 🍯☘🐝

This is a small batch release, so there's only so many bottles to go around... order yours while you still can

Ten years into Kinsale Mead Co., we knew we had to do something extra special to celebrate this one. We aged our Wildflower Mead in casks from Midleton Distillery. Our rarest and best made mead. Two Irish crafts, one bottle. It’s been a decade of perfecting modern and traditional recipes, meeting brilliant people along the way from all walks of life, and we couldn’t be more grateful for it.

What an honour it has been these past ten years to reintroducing mead to Ireland.
