Ten years into Kinsale Mead Co., we knew we had to do something extra special to celebrate this one. We aged our Wildflower Mead in casks from Midleton Distillery. Our rarest and best made mead. Two Irish crafts, one bottle. It’s been a decade of perfecting modern and traditional recipes, meeting brilliant people along the way from all walks of life, and we couldn’t be more grateful for it.

What an honour it has been these past ten years to reintroducing mead to Ireland.

It’s sad news folks!! Our 2025 batch of Wildflower Mead is almost sold out 🥲 The GOOD NEWS is Paul (the independent bee keeper we work with) will be harvesting his Irish wildflower honey very soon. And we’ll get started on the 2026 batch.

🔔However if you can’t wait that long, we recommend getting your orders in while stock lasts!

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the support you continue to give our Wildflower Mead. It’s amazing to see everyone get as excited as we do about each year’s batch and nature providing us with those lovely subtle flavour changes 🌼🌳 it’s our pleasure to bring this ancient Irish drink to you.

It’s been a gorgeous summer so far and no doubt that will impact next years honey… have you any guesses as to what it might taste like? 🌞
