Off the pitches our three villages and towns have our community and environment in common😀

Over the past weekend, we had two visits from Ballinderreen Tidy towns and Gort Tidy Towns .A lot of discussion, sharing of ideas and projects around engagement, biodiversity and sustainability.

We all benefit from connection and a supportive network!

All in planning mode for year ahead, we wish our neighbours well!

Dear Community

Galway County Council is proposing a new 30 km/h zone for Kinvara.

As you can see from image, it covers only a small part of our village centre, while leaving roads outside our schools and through major residential areas at 50 km/h.

Kinvara should have one clear 30 km/h limit across the existing built-up village area.The simplest and safest solution is to replace the existing 50 km/h signs on the approaches to Kinvara with 30 km/h signs, creating a coherent village-wide limit that everyone can easily understand.

Bottlebank got a good clean during week, thanks Raya🙏.

Thankful that users of the bottle bank are helping us keep it tidy. Please do not leave bottles or household waste outside containers.

Reminder that the bottlebank is emptied every friday by noon. So best if full to use during week or after friday afternoon. 🙏
