Have you heard about the upcoming CompTIA Security+ training opportunity at the Donegal ETB’s Letterkenny Training Centre?

Delivered through the NW DEPTH project, participants can develop in-demand cybersecurity skills and enhance their career prospects within the North West region.

Course overview:
• Globally recognised CompTIA Security+ certification
• Focus on practical, hands-on cybersecurity skills
• Covers network security, applications, devices, data protection
• Delivered in person, every Mon, 9:30am–1:00pm over 10 weeks

Key details:
• Start date: Monday, 20 April 2026
• Location: Donegal ETB’s Letterkenny Training Centre, Letterkenny
• Cost: Fully funded (subject to eligibility)
• Places: Limited

Eligibility:
Open to individuals living or working in the North West cross-border region, including Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Cavan, Monaghan, Louth, and Northern Ireland. Applicants should have relevant IT experience, ideally with a security focus.

Requirements:
Participants must have access to a laptop with full installation rights for the duration of the course.

Pleased to attend the launch of the ESTEEM project earlier today.
ESTEEM: Education, Skills & Training Empowering Economic Mobility, is a strong example of cross-border collaboration with the potential to create more seamless pathways between education and employment across the region.

Supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), the project is led by Atlantic Technological University in partnership with Ulster University, North West Regional College (NWRC) and Donegal ETB working alongside the Centre for Cross Border Cooperation.

This is an important initiative for the North West, with real potential to support learners, strengthen skills development and improve access to opportunity on both sides of the border.

🎓 New Masters in Responsible Entrepreneurship – Launching September 2025

ATU Galway-Mayo’s School of Business, in collaboration with several partner universities and Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT), is set to launch a new MBS in Responsible Entrepreneurship (subject to final approval).

• Starting September 2025
• One-year duration
• Blended delivery: primarily online, with a limited number of on-site sessions
• Fully funded – no tuition fees

This innovative programme is designed to support the next generation of entrepreneurs in building sustainable, responsible ventures that respond to today’s social and economic challenges.
