Housing delivery in Limerick

Limerick Chamber has warned that the city is nearly 6,000 homes behind what is required to support future growth, competitiveness and workforce development.

In its submission on Proposed Variation No. 3 to the Limerick Development Plan, the Chamber is calling for realistic deliverability assessments, accelerated progress on key sites and a comprehensive Housing Delivery Action Plan to address the region’s housing shortfall.

As the Mid-West prepares for the global attention that will come with Ryder Cup 2027, conversations around collaboration, readiness and long-term regional impact have never been more important.

Limerick Chamber is pleased to support “Connected Regions, Stronger Future”, hosted by the Faculty of Business and Humanities at , bringing together leaders from business, education and government to explore how the region can prepare for and benefit from the opportunities ahead.
