Over the last few months, with support from the Going for Gold initiative, we have been able to work with Maureen Toomey to provide support and gardening education in our 3 local schools - Le Chéile NS, Gaelscoil Sheoirse Clancy Luimneach and Our Lady Queen of Peace National School This week, we were delighted to welcome the children to work with our gardening team in planting the beds next to the playground in Southill. Thanks also to Ballyneety Men's Shed for generously providing us with some flowers.

We are happy to be part of a FREE Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day that's taking place in Limerick on Saturday, 13th June 2026 from 9am to 1pm at Limerick Racecourse. This event is being organised by the Regional Waste Management Planning Offices in partnership with Limerick City and County Council and is funded by the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment. You can dispose of any of the items listed on the poster for FREE, and we're especially interested in taking your leftover paint for our Relove Paint project.

This little visitor has been hanging out with us for most of the day. It's friendly and has a collar but no identifying disc - maybe it has strayed in here from a local house? It has been in the area close to our front gate.

We were sorry to say goodbye today to Ann O'Callaghan, our much loved and respected former colleague. Ann worked with us for many years - in our creche and later in our cafe until her retirement 2 years ago. The large attendance at her funeral, including many current and former colleagues, is proof of the respect and admiration in which she was held in the local community. May you Rest in Peace, Ann.
