Ballymaloe Foods has just launched its new 100 Recipe Sauce, a base sauce with gently cooked tomato, onion and garlic base designed to make everyday cooking easier and more delicious.
Tomatoes are slowly simmered and reduced until rich and full-flavoured, while onions and garlic are chopped and softly cooked to create a comforting, savoury base. Made with simple ingredients, the sauce provides the starting point for everything from pastas and curries to soups, stews and other family favourites.
Inspired by the familiar question, “What’s for dinner?”, 100 Recipe Sauce was created for busy households juggling work, homework, after-school activities and hungry bellies. It offers a helping hand in the kitchen by taking care of the first three steps of over 100 home-cooked recipes. By scanning the QR code on the jar, you can discover a dedicated online hub with 100 recipes, taking some of the pressure out of deciding what to cook.
