Abrasive Wheel training course

This abrasive wheels course is designed for people who work with Abrasive Wheels. Attendees will consider what hazard and risk mean, learn about the legislation relevant to Abrasive Wheels, and explore the duty holder's responsibilities.

This course will introduce attendees to the following:

✅ Safety aspects, risks, hazards & other factors
✅ Different types of abrasive wheel machines & what tasks they should be used for
✅ Relevant legislation & the duty holder's responsibilities.
✅ Risk Assessments
✅ Wheel maintenance
✅ Inspection & testing requirements for abrasive wheels
✅ Safe practice for mounting, dressing, & truing wheels
✅ Storage & handling
✅ Different potential emergencies & procedures required
✅ First Aid following abrasive wheel injuries
