The last few months have been a bit crazy at FACE Credit.
We’ve moved offices, welcomed new team members, onboarded new clients, changed some of our reporting structures — all while continuing to deliver for our existing clients and work on some very exciting new projects.

There has been a lot going on.
So last week we had a team day.
We took a full day out to reboot, refocus and look ahead. To regroup as a team, welcome our newest members properly and make sure everyone was clear on where we’re going next.
I’ll admit, there were a few moans that morning…

“We’re too busy for this.”
“I have too much to do.”

And I understood it because we ARE busy.
But by the end of the day, the difference was incredible.
The energy had changed.
People felt clearer.
We had refocused on our priorities and, most importantly, reconnected as a team.
Being busy can sometimes make you feel like you can’t afford to stop.
But sometimes you can’t afford not to.
Sometimes slowing down to speed up is exactly what a team needs.
A huge thank you to Emma for facilitating the day and giving us the space to stop, reset and get ready for what’s next.
Now, back to it.

As entrepreneurs, I think we’re always looking for the next thing.
It’s hard to explain, but it’s a common thread I see in so many entrepreneurs. Once we get one thing done, our heads are already onto the next.
And I get energy from that.
I think that’s the bit people sometimes don’t understand. The building is the energy. The ideas, the possibilities, figuring out what could be better and then making it happen that’s the part that lights the fire.
People often ask me, “How do you keep going?” and me thinking… I’m not even tired. 😂
I genuinely think if I was doing something that didn’t light my fire, I’d be exhausted. But this does.
This year has moved exceptionally fast, and there’s absolutely no sign of it slowing down as we head towards year-end.
On Wednesday, I took the day to step away and plan the next six months.
Today, we visited our new office in Manchester, dropped into the Chamber Awards, and I met my people.
People speaking the same language.
Moving at the same pace.
With the same kind of vision and ambition.
I already knew how important it was to surround yourself with the right people, but today I felt that in a huge way.
There’s something powerful about being around people who don’t think your ideas are too big or your pace is too fast. They just get it.
I came away knowing I’m on the right path.
What’s coming next for FACE Credit is seriously exciting.
And I’m match fit and ready to make sure we deliver it.

Our Open Day was a chance to stop for a minute and celebrate that journey, with our team, our clients, people who have supported us from the early days, and new faces who are now becoming part of the FACE story.
And I think that’s what struck me most on the days looked around the room.
No business is built by one person.
It’s built with the people who believe in you, the clients who trust you with their businesses, and most importantly, the team who show up every day and deliver what we promise.
The FACE team have been a huge part of the growth and success of this business, and seeing everyone together on the day made me very proud. FACE Credit Consultancy
And we’re still growing. Yay
For the first time, we’ve had to open a waiting list for new clients for the next six weeks as we are currently at capacity.
That is something I never take for granted.
We’re hiring again, growing the team and getting ready for what is going to be a very exciting next chapter for FACE.
With year end approaching, if you are considering working with us, please get in touch now. We’d hate for businesses to leave it until November or December only to find that we can’t accommodate them.
Seven years in and I’m telling you we are just getting started.

If you want to stay consistent with something, make it easy to do.💪🙌
For me, that means a makeshift gym in my shed 😂
I don’t have to get dressed, do my hair or drive anywhere. I literally just walk out to the shed and get it done.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that the more barriers you remove, the easier it is to stay disciplined.
If I had to get dressed, drive to a gym, find parking and then wait for a station, I know myself it would feel like a waste of time and I’d be far more likely to skip it.
So I’ve made fitness fit around my life, rather than making my life fit around fitness.
That looks different for everyone, but this works for me.
Hence the scruffy look 🤣
