Two great apps out there to help reduce food waste.

OLIO - Share More, Waste Less offers free food to be collected from volunteers who collect it from supermarkets like tesco, aldi. Usually end of day bakery & fruit and veg.

Too Good To Go is a reduced food app from businesses for the items they haven't sold..do sandwiches, breads, salads, deli items, pastries. Generally it is a surprise bag that you pick up as the business is closing up for the day
Prices vary buy generally it is a bag of food worth approx €12 that you get for €4.

Download the app, put in your details and location and see what is available..

PLEASE NOTE NEW COLLECTION LIST
I can no longer take wrappers from bread, crisps, popcorn, dishwasher products OR used pens/markers/twistibles. THESES ARE NO LONGER ACCECPTED BY TerraCycle UK SO I CAN NOT PASS THEM ON.

The only wrappers I can take are soft plastic wrappers from biscuit, cake, cracker, cereal bar, wafer bar, oat cakes, flapjack, rice cake etc..please look at the photos. Funds go to Aras Mhuire Nenagh Daycare

I will continue to take empty Ferrero rocher boxes and Kinder egg packaging, as well as used makeup for the UK collections.

Unwanted bras will also be accepted
I must confirm that the sweet tubs are going to be collected this Festive season by Greene King Brewery.
