Here are five simple habits to try:

- Wash full loads, using eco settings and lower temperatures where suitable.
- Only boil the water you need.
- Air-dry clothes whenever possible.

Everyone at Mid-West Solar is wishing the senior men’s team every success as they take on Derry City Football Club at home in the FAI Cup on this evening, in Eamonn Deacy Park.

United’s last FAI Cup semi-final appearance was in 2023, when they narrowly lost 1–0 to Bohemians at Eamonn Deacy Park. Here’s hoping for more cup memories to celebrate this October! 🏆

Big news coming in Budget 2026 for Irish households, farms and businesses 🇮🇪☀️

The 2026 Budget is bringing new and expanded support for solar energy in Ireland, making it more affordable for homeowners and businesses to invest in renewable energy.

€600 Home Battery Grant
A new grant is being introduced to help eligible homeowners install battery storage, allowing you to store more of the solar energy you generate and use it when you need it.

Solar PV Grant Eligibility Expanded
The SEAI Solar PV Grant is set to be expanded to include more homes, meaning more Irish homeowners could potentially qualify for support.

Commercial Solar Grant Increased
Support for eligible non-domestic solar PV projects is increasing from 23% to 45% for a 9-month period, helping Irish businesses reduce the upfront cost of going solar.
