Derogation 2020 has many changes to its terms and conditions .. Contact one of our team for information.

Closing date is the 8th of April.

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine has announced that applications for the 2020 nitrates derogation can now be submitted.

If you didn't submit the paper copy of the sheep & goat census by January 31st you have until the 14th of February to submit it online via agfood.ie.

The department of agriculture has made a decision to make an exception to the crop diversification requirements for 2020 on a case-by-case basis for those farmers who meet the following criteria

1. Declared winter crops, maize or potatoes on their 2019 BPS application

2. Can demonstrate that they were adversely affected by the weather conditions in late 2019.

Slurry spreading season is well under way now since the end of the restricted period, reminder that buffer zones for spreading of organic fertilisers near surface waters double from 5m to 10m for the 2 weeks before and after the prohibited spreading period.
