It’s always good to support local and it doesn’t come more local than Bare Acre. You can’t beat getting fresh local veg, and other deliciousness, in season as nature intended - give their veg boxes a try for yourself.

Hey folks.
We’re asking for your support to keep our small farm going through the winter months. If you value fresh food and the work of Irish vegetable growers, we’d love if you joined our vegetable box scheme.
WHAT YOU GET AS STANDARD
A box of vegetables either grown here on our own farm or supplied by neighbouring farms. We only buy vegetables within a 10km radius, so everything is local and supports Irish growers.
BOXES COME IN TWO SIZES
The Full Box costs €20.00 and contains 10 portions of organic and sustainably grown vegetables.
The Half Box / Salad Box costs €12.00 and contains 6 portions.
WHAT YOU CAN ADD
When ordering, you can add extras such as Ber’s Guinness Bread and jams, all made in our own kitchen without additives or preservatives. You can also add free-range eggs, local honey, strawberries in season, and our own farm flowers (March to October).
ORDER ONCE-OFF, OR SUBSCRIBE
You can order once-off to try it out. Our hope is that people will sign up for a weekly or fortnightly subscription, as this helps us plan our crops and keep the farm running.
WE DELIVER TO
Loughshinny, Skerries, Rush, Lusk, Balbriggan, Ballyboughal, Donabate & Portrane. Deliveries are every Friday.
COLLECTION
No matter where you live, you can order and collect from the Bare Acre Farm Shop. Collections are usually at the weekend, preferably Saturday for freshness, though Friday afternoon can also be arranged.
WHY WE’RE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP
We’re a small farm trying to grow food in a way that is good for people and land alike. We believe food straight from the farm is far better than the imported and processed food in supermarkets. But for small farms like ours to survive, we need the support of people like you. If you eat vegetables and like them fresh, please give us a try.
