Dean travaille dans le secteur de l'aquaculture depuis de nombreuses années. Il a fait ses débuts dans la mytiliculture après de son père à Castletownbere, puis a créé ses propres parcs à huîtres. Il s’est finalement lancé dans le négoce d’huîtres et autres produits de la mer. Dean connaît parfaitement le travail acharné nécessaire aux cultures marines pour obtenir des produits de haute qualité. Cette expérience lui confère une position privilégiée pour commercialiser les produits irlandais, tant sur le marché national que sur le marché européen.

⭐⭐We are delighted to announce that Dean Murphy of DM Seafoods in Cork will be taking over the Shellfish Trading element of Triskell Seafood's activities. This is effective immediately.⭐⭐

Dean has been in the aquaculture industry for many years. Originally working on his father's mussel farm in Castletownbere, before establishing his own oyster farms and ultimately getting into shellfish trading. Dean understands firsthand the hard work that goes into growing high quality shellfish, particularly oysters. That experience means he is uniquely placed to market Irish shellfish both at home, and on the European market.

After more than 26 years in business, I have taken the decision to close Triskell Seafood on the 30/04/25.
It has been a fantastic experience and I have met some amazing characters along the way. I have truly enjoyed all of it. A sincere thank you to my team and all who have supported me and made this journey possible.

Après plus de 26 ans d’activité, j'ai pris la décision de fermer Triskell Seafood le 30/04/2025 pour me lancer dans de nouveaux projets. J’ai adoré ce parcours, riche en expériences variées. J'ai rencontré des personnes formidables. Un grand merci à mon équipe et à tous ceux qui m'ont soutenu.
