Have you ever been lured back to the world of 9-5, the place where someone just hands you money every single week for the work you are doing... which would be a lot less effort than you are doing now, right??

How many times have you looked through the positions vacant, or even took the next step and applied?

But for some reason, we don't actually go through with it.

A lot of people say to me"If this doesn't work this time, I'm finding a JOB", or "I'm going to really have to starting thinking about finding a JOB"

But then I meet with them a while later and they are no further along in their business and also have not gone back to the J.O.B.

AND the worst thing about this is.
Nothing has changed.
They are still doing the same things and saying the same things.

They say they don't want to quit, but their actions scream something else.

They won't look at their business and figure out and admit where they are going wrong.

They won't change what they are doing and they are unwilling to invest in themselves through training/coaching or trial and error, to learn what changes could work.

They are not following through on their plan.
They have either given up on or dramatically reduced their goals.

And the biggest sin. They don't believe they can succeed.

If you are thinking that, then that's where you need to start.

I believe we must sort out the inner stuff in order to make the outter stuff work.

I have seen people set goals, and get all excited about what they are going to achieve only to retreat back into their old ways, old habits, and old business structure.

This can happen for all sorts or reasons and it happens to most solopreneurs on their journey.

It can be a rough business patch.
Fear of the unknown.
Life stuff getting in the way.
A loss of passion for what you are doing.
A launch gone wrong.

If what you are doing now is not working.
Then stop what you are doing.
It's not working!!!

Ask yourself some hard questions and give yourself some raw and honest answers.

Questions like
"What am I doing right now that I don't want to do?"
"What are the changes I would love to implement but feel too scared to?"

Writing the answers to these questions is a great way to get the truth out of you.

When you feel ready, then put a new plan together and EXECUTE it.
Deal with the fears and challenges as they come up.

Yes, sorry, more fear will come up!

Just don't quit.

And if you think you can't do it on your own, then find someone to support you and let them help you get where you want to go.

I believe everyone can succeed when you take away all the excuses we use to tell ourselves why we can't and actually figure out how to make it work for us.

And of couse have a plan to follow - make that plan as simple as possible because you do't want to add any more to your plate.

What do you think you need change right now?

Give yourself permission to ramp up or ramp down, to go all in or take a break. Do what feels good to you! Forcing yourself into what you think you should do never works!

11/08/2025

I have a business alongside being a Mother to a young child..and most of my clients have something in their life that pulls on their time too, be it another business, taking care of children, being a single mother, caregiver to parents.

Whatever it is, it means that we simply CANNOT give all our time to our businesses..no matter how much we would like to.

Unfortunately sometimes we can fall into victim mode and blame all this as to why we don’t have all the results we want from our business, but really that is us leaning into self sabotage.

Over the years I have made many mistakes running my business and sometimes I was too slow to make changes as my life changed.
I have learned the hard way and had to take responsibility for the fact that it was the decisions that I made that were giving me the results I had.

The reality is that must do certain things within our businesses so we can have a business that supports us AND continues to work even when we are not giving it physical time.

1. KNOW YOUR TIME LIMITS.

The most important thing you need when you have multiple things pulling on your energy reserves is downtime. That can look different for everyone and you know what replenishes your energy, but you need to make sure you are getting that time.

Killing yourself with early mornings or late nights when it does not suit you is sabotaging your business results right now.

Instead..be very realistic when deciding on your work time.
Commit to what you can and stick to it.
Stop blaming the fact that you don’t have enough time and know that you can manage the time you have better.

From here you will know what needs to change in your business offerings, strategy and structure… because that is where the true issue lies!

2. STOP TAKING ON TOO MUCH.

This is my biggest self sabotage.
I am getting better at lessening my workloads but I usually have too much on my plate on a daily basis!

Yes, one part of this is simply saying NO to more…but the other part to this is figuring out why you think you have to do it all and in such short time frames.

What are you trying to prove or why do you think you need to do it that way?

Start by asking the question..How am I not letting myself be supported right now?..and see if there are small changes you can start making?

3. HAVE A HIGH TICKET ITEM TO SELL

Killing yourself selling low cost offers all the time is not allowing your business to support you.
Everyone should have a 4 figure or multiple 4 figure offer and give your clients the opportunity to pay you more so you don’t have to sell so much to hit your targets.

What is the harm in having it as part of your service offerings?
The worst that can happen is someone buys.

4. SIMPLIFY AND AUTOMATE WHERE EVER YOU CAN

This alone has saved me 100’s of hours in my business AND it is how your business continues to work when you are not physically present.

In todays world there is not much you cannot automate and it you are not using it in your business you are sabotaging your downtime.

Start by figuring out the tasks that take you a LOT OF TIME or are very repetitive and figure out what systems and automation you can put in place to support you with this.

If you simply don’t know what you could do, DM and tell me what it is and I’ll give you a solution if I can!

5. HAVE A RECCURING INCOME STREAM.
This one is my favorite and I have seen so many people transform their business just by implementing this strategy.

Having reccuring income coming into your business every month supports you in more ways than I can put into words.

It allows you to have breathing space, take that day off when you are sick, be with your children when they need you and work less through holidays.

Personally it has allowed me to take a month of at Christmas for a few years now and dramatically reduce my hours during the summer.

I’d love to know which strategy you will put in place first!

Today I invite you to play the "what if" game with yourself.

E.g. what if I stopped making excuses?
What if I allowed myself to go with the flow?
What if suck to what I said I was going to do?

SPEAKING YOUR TRUTH - what does it really mean??

This is a term used a lot in the "spiritual/energetic" world.. and a lot of times I believe people don't truly understand what it means.

Here is my take on it --- STOP LYING TO YOURSELF!

I do it myself - a lot less than I used to, but I still tell myself lies.

And I come across this in all clients I work with.

We tell ourselves all kinds of untruths

- I'm not good enough
- I'm not ready
- I'm broke
- I'm not confident enough
- I can't charge that
- No-one will buy that
- My following is not interested.

These are all un-truths we tell ourselves and it is the number one block creation strategy that stops you from having all you want and desire.

So let's start making changes today.

Stop telling yourself lies.
Lean into the truth of everything - It might not be 100% where you desire it to be yet but telling yourself the truth about the situation instead of lying to yourself about it will definitely get you there faster!

What truth do you need to lean into starting now?

29/07/2025

Today I want to remind you that you are ALLOWED a break.

You are allowed to make things easier.
You are allowed to say no sometimes.
You are allowed to leave some things until a later time.

You don't have to take it all on.

You can be your own priority….actually it is VERY IMPORTANT that you are.

Because it’s true, people do depend on you.
You are the glue who holds it all together.
Things probably would not get done as quickly or as good as you do them.

AND you have to make sure that you are fit and well enough…mind, body & soul to do it all.

Let me tell you..burnout is very real.

And it can sneak up on you sometimes.

I was in burnout a couple of times in my life and it is not a nice thing.

We can beat ourselves up thinking we are lazy or unmotivated.

Tell ourselves that we are procrastinating and we need to snap ourselves out of it.

And we keep trying to push through.

We constantly wonder why we just can’t make ourselves do the things.

Resulting in:

Lots of things started but not a lot finished.
Leaving things to the last minute.
Feeling like we are behind.
Feeling resentment towards other people.
The to-do list feeling like a tonne weight on top of us.
Hopping from one thing to another

OR ..if this has been going on for a while..

Finding it hard to get started with ANYTHING.
Finding it hard to make any decisions.
Feeling absolutely drained.

After navigating burnout a couple of times now…here is what I believe.

Burnout..or the road to burnout …indicates the absence of joy in your life.

No matter what it is..it all feels hard.
And why would you want to face into hard things every moment of every day?

That is where the procrastination/un-motivation/exhaustion etc. creeps in.

So what do we do about it?

Well let’s start with what not to do.

You definitely don’t want to brush it off and power through.
You don’t want to pretend all is OK.

You don’t want to work more in the hopes of “catching up”.
You don’t want to journal positive affirmations to make yourself feel better.

There is something wrong here and it needs to be identified and resolved.

1. TAKE SOME TIME OFF.

If you can’t take a complete break…reduce your work time.
Re-enforce boundaries.
Reduce scroll times.
Don’t start new projects.
Have complete days off/weekends off.

2. GET IT OUT.

Something is up, so you are going to grab your journal and a pen and paper and write the question.

“What is up?” Or “What is bothering me right now?”

Let it all pour out onto the page.

When you feel complete..then go back through each one and reframe it or ask yourself..is this 100% true? Or commit to a solution you can put in place to solve this.

3. MAKE SOME DECISIONS.

I would guarantee you if you are feeling like this right now there are a number of unmade decisions circling in your head right now.

grab that journal or paper again and ask..

What unmade decisions do I have right now?
List them.
Do something about the ones you can do something about.

This will de-clutter some space in your brain and help you feel better.

4. REPLENISH YOUR ENERGY.

There are energy leaks everywhere right now.
You need to start being a bit selfish and put yourself first.

Make decisions that suit you a bit better?
Ask for help where you can?
Get outside more?
Take up a hobby?
Call your friends/meet your friends more?
Meditate more?
Journal more?
Ease into your day with a simple morning routine ritual?
Treat yourself more?

Whatever it is it should feel good and have a positive compound effect the more you do it.

It’s time we saw you smile again!

Hit reply and tell me what you are taking from this information, and what ONE action you are going to put in place as a result.

Can we normalise this please....
Hands up those who have had

- a failed launch
- an offer that only one person bought.
- a rejection from what felt like a sure new contract/client

I'll go first...
Both hands up.

It's part of business it happens..AND it doen't meant anything about your ability to run a successful business or have the most AMAZING perfect clients!

Working less...means you HAVE to work smarter!

This topic always comes up around the holiday months..summer/Christmas etc.

Solopreneurs tell me that they want to slow down a bit..see less clients, spend more time with the kids while on holidays or just simply take a break themselves.

No-one can argue with the fact that you have earned it..hell you are running a business AND doing everything else for your life..and often for others too.

The problem is you worry about
- money drying up
- your online presence disappearing
- things piling up on your to-do list.

And then you start juggling…holiday stuff and work stuff.
You end up feeling on the back foot.
You might even try to do stuff with the kids around and end up constantly being disrupted.
Resentment might set in – “Why can’t I have what I want?, why do I never have enough time?”

You get frustrated.
Nothing gets done to the level you want it completed to.
And in the end work is the thing that gets packed away and you tell yourself I’ll get back to it when the holidays are over.

Any of this sound familiar?
I know this has been my situation many times…especially since my son was born.

But I have good news.
We can avoid this with a couple of tweaks to your strategy…and if you can’t put any of this in place right now, keep reading to the end because I have some things you could do right now.
The key here is.
You want to work less.
That means you need to decide that you are working smarter (and when you get into the habit of doing this…it will become your norm)

We are going to look at 3 areas.
1. Online presence.
2. Working with clients.
3. What you are selling and how.

ONLINE PRESENCE..AKA CONTENT.

This one is the easiest..BATCHING.
Embrace batching your content and your work life will change…guaranteed.
(By the way..if you need help creating and batching content..I have a 1-1 program to help you, just ask!)

Here is your getting started plan of action with examples.

- create a SIMPLE content plan – where you are posting, what you are posting, where you are posting

e.g. you have Instagram and page
You will post Monday to Friday

plan – post 3 reels a week on instagram (these will be automatically shared to your page too)
Post 1-3 stories a day: 1 behind the scenes, 1 information story, 1 story selling.
Post 3 times per week on page – 1 question, 1 statement, 1 long post.

All of this content will be relevant to what you are selling right now.
You can schedule all of these directly on the platforms.
You could get one week of content created in less than an hour, scheduled and good to go.

TOP TIP – create a content bank..e.g. store all your tips, statements and posts somewhere so you can reuse in the future and take b-roll videos whenever you can for your reels.

I dare you to set a timer..60 mins and see how much you can create.

WORKING WITH CLIENTS

The holiday weeks are not the time to practice your over-delivery, to fit as many people in as possible or be stuck to your computer answering emails.

This is the time to embrace strengthening your boundaries:
- getting strict on your availability
- communicating clearly with your clients on your response times.
- embracing technology to support you and your business.

e.g. You currently give clients the opportunity to book in at a time that suits them and you answer messages and emails as soon you can after they come in.

This does not create freedom or peace of mind.

Here is an easy solution.

Create a booking link so clients can only book at a time that you have decided works for you. (and before you tell me that this will not work for you, one of my clients increased her bookings by 300% in one month by doing this)
Tighten your boundaries by telling your clients when and how you will respond to questions.
Set up out of office on phone , email and DM’s to support this.

WHAT YOU ARE SELLING AND HOW

This is the area I think trips people up the most.
They try to sell something during the summer months that will put them under time pressure.
(And you will resist selling it because you don’t want the time pressure)

For many, this is not the time to fill your calendar with clients.
This is the time to really consider what you are selling and how.

e.g. Selling a 1-1 package that involves you doing calls with potential clients before they book with you.. could be switched to an form application or a voice note conversation instead.

Selling something that requires you to physically create invoices etc, could be switched to an online payment system.

Selling 1-1 coaching programs that requires you to get on the phone and schedule calls..could be switched to voice note coaching packages over the holiday months (it is just as effective..I think even more so!)

Or you could simply sell online products or places that start later in the year.

……….
As I said..if you want to work less, you simply have to work a little smarter and make some tweaks to what you are doing.

NOW…
Above takes a little prep work and you might not have the time to get it all in place right now.

So if you are saving this post to put this in place when you have more time…
Here is something you could use RIGHT NOW.

1. CONTENT.

Repurpose what you have already out there.
Share previous posts and reels to stories / page.
Create short one minute stories showing one tiny part of your day.

Create statement posts consisting of 1-2 sentences.

The goal – keep your presence alive.

2. WORKING WITH CLIENTS.

Simply tighten up your boundaries..I guarantee you they will not be annoyed, they are enjoying their summer too.

Batch your clients into the same days if you can.
Be strict with the times they can book in with you..it should suit you.

Set up out of offices with clear information and instructions.

3. WHAT YOU ARE SELLING.

Really consider what you are selling now.
Do you want to sell it?
How would you feel if the sale came in?

Maybe switch to
- selling something that would be easier to deliver or take less of your time.
- selling a passive income product
- promoting your opt-ins and building your list?

Comment below or DM me and tell me what you are taking from this information, and what ONE action you are going to put in place as a result.

15/07/2025

About 2 years ago I started my weight loss journey… well actually it started a while before that, I really should say that I started actually losing the weight 2 years ago!

I am very proud to say that I am now 34 pounds down from my starting point and am on the home stretch to my ideal target weight : approx 17lbs to go.

I would love to tell you that I simply did this and cut out that to achieve this goal, but oh my, did it come with challenges.

Life stuff got in the way.

Family stuff got in the way.

Medical issues derailed me for a time.

Hitting F-it points and wondering how bloody long will it take happened many, many times!!

And I constantly had to keep re-adjusting what I was doing every time I hit a plateau.

Interestingly enough mostly I had to take something away from what I was already doing or simplify a routine.

Sometimes I had to give myself a good talking to and course correct..that is what happened in the last few weeks.

There has been “A LOT” of family stuff lately and it has thrown me completely off course…and I slipped back into some old habits because of time pressure and low energy levels.

And my results stopped dead in their tracks.

I noticed it quickly but allowed the little excuses to slip back in.

- I don’t have the time.

- I’m not in my normal environment.

- Others need me right now.

I was not taking responsibility for my own goals, desires and results.

So I had THE TALK with myself.

Then, I surrounded myself with the things I needed to get the results..i.e. restocked the kitchen with the food that support my goals.

I got back into consistency with the habits I knew I needed to be doing.

And that stubborn kilogram that was not shifting..fell off me so easily with what seemed like no effort at all.

Why? – Because I started doing the work, that I knew would work, if I remained consistent with it!

We do the same in our business.

Get a couple of good results or hit a couple of goals.

Life gets in the way.

We let the excuses dictate our actions and fall into old habits.

Results stall or start to go backwards.

This is when the “ Where am I not taking responsibility? “ self talk has to happen.

Because I guarantee you that you already know what you are NOT doing.

Whether it is out of fear, tiredness, overwhelm or other… you are not getting what you want because you are in old or bad habits.

So today.
Change just one.

Pick one thing you know that you need to re-ignite in your business or take control of.
I know you’ve already been thinking about it or saying you will do it.

Create a really simple plan to ensure you stay consistent with it and put the resources in place to make sure it happens … just like I did when I restocked the kitchen with what I needed instead of reaching for the things that would sabotage my progress.

e.g. social media?..batch create a week or 2 of content and schedule it so you have no excuses.

Comment Below or DM me, and tell me the ONE thing you are going to get back on track with starting now and what you are going to do to make sure you stay consistent with it...because writing it down is your committing to it, telling someone else re-affirms that commitment!
