We were delighted to welcome St. Nathy’s LGFA to An Chroí for their recent cardiac screening evening. Supporting great initiatives like this is an important part of our community outreach. We are very proud to offer our facilities free of charge to local community groups.

Tubbercurry Development Company and Sligo County Council have secured funding to create an Energy Master Plan for our community.

We’re looking for local participants for:

• Home energy audits (limited places)
• Free audits for community/commercial/industrial/agri groups (energy spend < €10k/year)
• Support to access grant-aided audits for larger energy users (> €10k/year)
• A travel survey to help strengthen the case for better local transport links

We are very sorry to hear of the sad passing of our dear friend and supporter Paul Walsh, a man whose quiet determination, skill, and vision helped shape and deliver our An Chroi Digital Hub.

Together with Dermot Gordon, Paul took on the challenge of renovating An Chroi back in 2021. With professionalism, care, and an unerring eye for design, they transformed the space into something we are all very proud of. Their work didn’t just meet expectations, it raised the standard, added value, and left a legacy that will serve our community for many years to come.

Today, we say thank you, Paul. Thank you for your time, your talent, and your heart. You’ve left more than just this building, you’ve left a proud legacy from your active involvement in multiple community groups across South Sligo.

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Trish and his children Adam, Tara and Erin. We also extend sympathies to his brothers Shane and Padraig and his sister Siobhán and the extended Walsh and Reidy families.

Rest in peace, Paul. Your work lives on.

South Sligo Holistic would like to announce the last intake of the year for “Foundations of Taichi - Qigong” - 8 week term.

Starting dates: Tuesday the 8th of April (6:15pm to 7:45pm) OR Thursday the 10th of April (10:30am to 12pm).

Fee: €80 for the 8 weeks, including an optional second class weekly (Lunchtime Qigong Flows, Tuesdays and Thursdays lunchtime).
