✋ Stop! Put down the lawnmower!
Ever wonder why your daffodils or tulips don't come back as strong the second year? It’s all about the "recharge phase." 🔋
Right now, your bulbs are using those green leaves to soak up sunlight and store energy for next spring. If you cut them back too early, you’re essentially "unplugging" their charger!
Top Tips:
✅ Dead-head: Snip the faded flowers so the plant doesn't waste energy on seeds.
✅ Wait: Leave the foliage for 6–8 weeks (resist the urge to tidy up!).
✅ Feed: Use a high-potash fertiliser like DCM Mix 2 (NPK 7-6-12) at 2kg per 100m² to build a massive bulb for next year.
