Broadband and WiFi are 2 different things - for the love of ....... Think of broadband like its water (no its not fec*ing water) 🙂

Broadband = Water coming into your house from Irish Water through the mains.

Router = The main stopcock that controls and directs the water around your house.

Wired connection = A direct pipe to your kitchen tap and other taps (strongest, most reliable water flow)

WiFi/Wireless = Like having buckets throughout your house that you get a cetain amount of water without needing to run new pipes.

Mesh system = Having multiple taps around a large house so you get good water pressure everywhere, not just near the main pipe.

If you only had one tap near where the water enters, you wouldn't have any water in the back rooms or bedrooms.
If you only have one router where the broadband enters, the WiFi signal will have trouble getting through thick walls or wall insulation.

Mesh (router) system is like having several well-placed taps so every room gets strong water pressure.
